We are seeking a Sales Engineer to join our Sales team. This role is responsible for development & implementation of sales strategies necessary to drive improvements in sales productivity & to help the sales team meet their objectives. This will involve:
·        Design, development & documentation of business processes
·        Deployment of tools to enhance the business process
·        Training the sales team on both business processes & tools
·        Proactive review of data & issues in order to streamline processing & avoid downstream problems
·        Reporting to track sales performance & detect areas for improvement
·        Researching & recommending improvements to the process

Candidates must have a strong technical aptitude. This is a hands-on role that includes business process engineering, workflow development, application administration, and report development.

Requirements:

• BA or BS, preferably in a business or technical area
• Prior experience within the insurance industry or other relevant financial industries
• Prior experience configuring & administering packaged applications
• Prior experience with CRM systems
• Prior experience with report development
• Serve as the primary interface with the IT team
• Ability to cultivate alternatives, quantitatively select the best alternative, and champion the solution with senior management
• Manage multiple assignments and align them with the business priorities & deadlines
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Visio & Project
• Experience with report development tools & basic understanding of SQL
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is a plus
• 10% travel
